Former Ghana Premier League side, King Faisal have announced the signing of 16-year-old striker Andrew William Yaw Insaidoo from Berekum Chelsea.

The youngster arrives as part of the Kumasi-based club’s rebuilding process as they look to bounce back to the Ghanaian top flight after suffering relegation in 2023.

King Faisal began their 2025/26 Access Bank Division One League campaign with a goalless draw at home against Skyy FC, on Sunday, September 28, 2025, a result that highlighted the need for fresh attacking options.

Insaidoo, a teenager, is regarded as a raw but exciting talent. Though he struggled to make his mark at Berekum Chelsea, limited playing time meant fans never really got to see his full potential.

At King Faisal, he is expected to be handed the opportunity to develop and showcase his ability on a bigger stage.

The forward’s arrival is also seen as a statement of intent by the club’s management, who are eager to blend youthful energy with experience in their quest for promotion.
