Kevin Taylor, a media personality and journalist from Ghana, has caused controversy by making a number of grave accusations against Eddy Akuffo Addo, the son of former President Nana Akufo-Addo. Taylor recently accused Eddy Akuffo Addo of engaging in dubious activities and possessing substantial riches in a post on X (previously Twitter), which sparked a flurry of internet debates.
Taylor asserted in the post headed “CITIZENS NEED TO KNOW PT 2” that Eddy controls a sizeable amount of his family’s money in addition to owning the well-known Kozo & Vine eateries. According to him, a large portion of President Akufo-Addo’s assets—what Taylor called “Bumpty’s” money and properties—are actually registered in Eddy Akuffo Addo’s name.
Taylor continued by attacking the administration of the outgoing president for allegedly renting private jets, a practice that had already sparked criticism from the public. He also claimed that during these rentals, Eddy and his partners transported substantial sums of money—specifically US dollars—to offshore islands using the planes.
In an even more contentious accusation, Taylor claimed that Eddy Akuffo Addo was planning LGBTQ parties and that guests had to turn in their phones when they entered. Videos of these incidents will soon be made public, he pledged.
Social media has been rocked by these unsubstantiated claims, and many people are worried about how they might affect the Akuffo-Addo family and the departing government. It’s crucial to remember that Taylor’s assertions are based solely on his own research and opinions, and no hard proof has been shown to support them.
