: Kennedy Agyapong, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Assin Central, has emphasized the need for visionary leadership in Ghana, urging presidential aspirants to think beyond short-term gains. He stressed that Ghana requires leaders with a clear vision for the future, rather than those focused on immediate benefits . This sentiment echoes the concerns of many Ghanaians who feel that previous administrations have not effectively addressed the country’s pressing challenges.

In the run-up to the December 2024 elections, three presidential aspirants have withdrawn from the race, citing the dominance of the New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress ¹. The Electoral Commission has outlined the nomination process for presidential and parliamentary candidates, including filing fees and requirements .

As Ghanaians prepare to head to the polls, the call for visionary leadership becomes increasingly important. The country needs leaders who can inspire hope and drive meaningful change, addressing critical issues such as economic growth, education, and healthcare. With the election season in full swing, citizens must carefully consider their choices and demand more from their leaders.
