Ghanaian Afrofusion artiste Kelalie (real name Godson Selasie K. Kwame) has officially released his brand-new single Monica, available today, October 31, 2025, on all major streaming platforms.

The track serves as a prelude to his highly anticipated debut EP, Lover Boy, set for release on November 14, 2025, under Crux Global.

Monica is an infectious blend of bounce, rhythm, and emotion — a captivating story about desire, vulnerability, and the longing for genuine connection. Kelalie’s heartfelt delivery paints a vivid picture of a woman so magnetic she feels like healing itself, yet mysterious enough to keep him chasing.

Speaking about the single, Kelalie shared:

“Monica is more than a love song; it is a reflection of how attraction can feel hypnotic and dangerous at the same time”

Produced with rich Afrofusion textures and spiritual undertones, “Monica” bridges traditional Ghanaian emotion with contemporary global sound.

The record sets the tone for Lover Boy, a six-track exploration of love, faith, and emotional evolution that promises to position Kelalie as one of Ghana’s most distinct new voices.

The accompanying rollout includes a social media challenge, campus activations, and live appearances as part of Kelalie’s Lover Boy campaign.

Fans can expect a deeper dive into his creative world through behind-the-scenes clips, interviews, and intimate storytelling moments leading up to the full EP release.
