Black Stars winger Kamaldeen Sulemana registered his maiden league goal in Serie A on Sunday, September 21, 2025, and also delivered a pinpoint assist to propel Atalanta to a dominant 3-0.

Kamaldeen, who joined the Bergamo giants from Southampton in the 2025 summer transfer window, pounced on a loose ball in the penalty area for a clinical finish, just four minutes after Nikola Krstovic’s opener in the 30th minute.

The 23-year-old’s attacking flair and vision unlocked Torino’s defence once more when he sent a precise pass to Krstovic for his brace, sealing a first-half victory that left the home side disorganised and Atalanta in cruise control.

Sulemana’s man-of-the-match performance, where his blistering pace was on display, creating two chances and relentlessly tormenting the Torino backline, serves as a propelling force for Atalanta to move fifth on the Serie A standings with eight points from four matches.

This performance for the Ghanaian international is a confidence booster ahead of Black Stars’ last round of 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against the Central African Republic and Comoros under coach Otto Addo.
