Kaakyire Kwame Appiah has proudly disclosed that he is the father of eighteen children with nine women, saying he sees no reason to conceal that truth.

Speaking on Okay FM with Nana Romeo, the popular highlife musician acknowledged that his revelation could stir criticism but maintained that he prefers honesty about his personal life.

“I have 18 children with nine different women. I know people will bash me, but honestly, what do you gain by hiding something that’s already there? All my children know each other. When you see how united they are, you’d even think they came from one woman. The youngest is four months old,” he said.

Kaakyire Kwame Appiah described his large family as a divine gift, noting that while some people struggle to have even one child, he considers himself blessed to have many. He added that his youngest child, born just four months ago, is a reminder of how fruitful his life has been.

The veteran musician also spoke about his vitality, hinting that he might expand his family if life allows. “I wanted 25 children. If it should happen that way, I would be very excited,” he remarked.

According to him, all his children share a close bond despite having different mothers, a harmony that often amazes outsiders. Kaakyire said their unity reflects the love and understanding that bind his family together.
