Secondary students have sparked conversations online after hiring ‘Ogene’ traditional dancers to celebrate after finishing their WAEC exams.

A video posted by @adaobichimnoya showcased students on the street, jubilating and dancing to the Ogene performance to celebrate the end of their secondary school education and WAEC exams.

@adaobichimnoya congratulated the students, hoping that university admission would affect them later on.

The video has generated mixed reactions online, with many speculating that the students’ WAEC results would determine whether the celebration was important.

While some confirmed that the celebration was significant because some students took their WAEC exams at night, others opined that their reality had just started.
