Paintsil’s mum opening the gate of her new house
Black Stars forward, Joseph Paintsil, has melted hearts after gifting his mother a beautiful new house in appreciation for her love and sacrifices.
In a video shared on social media, the LA Galaxy winger blindfolded his mother and drove her to the property, surrounded by family and friends.
Upon arrival, he gently removed the blindfold, revealing the surprise, a brand-new home, leaving his mother visibly emotional.
Paintsil then handed her the keys before taking her on a tour of the house amid cheers and applause from onlookers.

The Ghanaian international accompanied the video with a heartfelt caption celebrating his mother’s unwavering love and support.
“Mom, your boundless love has been my light and my anchor. You’ve nurtured me with warmth, understanding, and care. Every smile, every laugh, and every shared moment has been a piece of magic in my life. I am blessed beyond measure to have you as my mother. You are my best friend and my forever support. I love you more than words can convey,” he wrote.
He added that he did not want to wait until it was too late to show appreciation to his mother.
“I wouldn’t wait till you are no more before I show you how precious you are to me and how grateful I am to God for having you around me.”
The forward has 10 goals and 5 assists in 25 MLS games in the 2025 season and was part of the Black Stars squad that qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
