Ghanaian international Joseph Paintsil delivered a standout performance with a goal and an assist as LA Galaxy fought back to secure a 2-2 draw against FC Dallas at the Toyota Stadium.
The hosts made a flying start, taking control of the game through Petar Musa, who scored twice in the 7th and 38th minutes to give Dallas a comfortable lead.
The Galaticos responded just before halftime when Lucas Sanabria pulled one back in the 43rd minute after being set up by Paintsil. The Ghanaian winger then stepped up himself, scoring minutes later to level the match before the break.
The 28-year-old, who has recently returned from injury, was lively throughout but was forced off in the 73rd minute after picking up a minor knock, with Harbor Miller coming on as his replacement.
Despite the concern, the injury is not considered serious, and Paintsil is expected to recover in time as he continues to build form ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
