Ghana captain Jordan Ayew increased his English Premier League goal tally to five this season after scoring in Leicester City’s 2-0 victory over already relegated Southampton on Saturday, May 3, 2025.
Ayew doubled the lead for the Foxes, who have been relegated from the top flight with matches to spare, in the 44th minute.
He took a free-kick that hit the wall, but the ball came straight back to him, and he fired a low-effort shot from 22 yards that beat Ramsdale.
He has now scored three goals in 16 Premier League appearances against the Saints.
Ayew was substituted in the 70th minute by Jeremy Monga.
