The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, John Dumelo, has highlighted the importance of Agriculture and value addition as key drivers of economic growth.
According to him, value addition remains very important in transforming Ghana’s Agricultural sector.

In a post shared on social media on January 18, 2026, the farmer narrated his visit and engagement with farmers in the West Akim Constituency.
He also engaged with students of Asamankese Senior High School, where he encouraged young people to take agriculture seriously, as well as adding value to agricultural produce.
