Ghanaian gospel artist Joe Mettle has voiced his displeasure over the quality of airplanes assigned to Ghana-bound flights, calling attention to the issue in a post on X on December 1, 2024.

In his post, the award-winning musician lamented the disparity between the substandard planes used for flights to Ghana and the higher-quality aircraft deployed to other African destinations, even though ticket prices remain steep.

“Hi family. There’s something that’s been bothering me, and I need your thoughts. I’ve traveled a bit and noticed that many planes coming to Ghana are far from the best compared to those flying to other African countries. Why is that?” Mettle questioned.

He also highlighted the puzzling contrast in airplane quality, especially since some destinations with shorter flight durations receive superior planes.

“And many times, the flight distance is even way shorter, and they still get better planes. Is it because we accept whatever is offered and don’t demand better? And oh boy, these tickets are not cheap,” he added.

    Hi family.
So there’s something that’s been bothering me and I wanted some help.
I’ve had the privilege to travel a bit and realized that most of the planes that come to Ghana are not the best at all compared to the ones that goes to other African countries why is that ?
