The Amenfi Central National Democratic Congress (NDC) has reported that at least six of its supporters have been hurt, while Joana Gyan Cudjoe, the parliamentary candidate, was unharmed when some alleged thugs attacked Madam Gyan and her group on Saturday night (November 30) as they were returning from a campaign.
She suffered damage when these thugs broke the glasses on her campaign vehicle. They were wounded on the hands, legs, and heads.
They are presently receiving medical attention at a local hospital, and the Wassa Dominase Police Station has been notified of the incident for more investigation. According to a victim (whose identity has been suppressed), Madam Joana Gyan and her group were on their way back after a campaign in Adjakaamanso.
According to the victim, Joana Gyan’s car was abruptly crossed by a car, which then allegedly pounced on them and completely destroyed it.
Since police investigations have begun, the attack’s cause is unknown at the time this article was filed.
