The Ivy League student who refused to ‘work for a Jew’ claims he has been kicked out of his parents’ $1.75 million home over his ‘morally repugnant’ views.

Austin Franco, 19, a student at Cornell University, sparked fury after he turned down an interview for an internship at a startup because of its Jewish owners.

Amid outrage over his remarks, Franco has refused to apologize or walk back his stance. He has now allegedly been evicted from his family home and is now begging for donations to help him support himself.

‘I will be kicked out of my home on August 1st. Any support you can provide would be greatly appreciated, as would any advice,’ he tweeted on Wednesday.

‘I have reiterated that my parents do not share my views, and it seems they no longer wish to provide me with a home to live in. I know the road ahead will be difficult, but this is the path I chose.’

The teenager went on to reaffirm his choices, saying: ‘I do not regret anything I have done. If I were to die today, I would at least know that I did so believing in myself.’

Franco’s parents Alexander and Diana own a five-bedroom home in Broadlands, Virginia, about 33 miles outside of Washington DC, property records show.

His mother, Diana, seemingly confirmed his eviction as she denounced his views in a statement to the New York Post: ‘We have seen our adult son fall under the influence of extremist online content.

‘It should go without saying that the rest of our family finds the views he has expressed morally repugnant, and he did not derive them in any way from us.’

She added that they ‘love our son very much’ and claimed that they tried to ‘counter the online influences that have afflicted him.’

Franco, speaking to the Post, dismissed Diana’s statement, alleging that he had ‘in-person experiences’ that shaped his apparent antisemitic beliefs.

He said he plans to move into an apartment near Cornell’s campus in Ithaca, New York.

The GiveSendGo fundraiser to fund his living situation has already amassed more than $8,200 in donations.

His top donor, self-identified as an ‘ex Parliament member,’ contributed $500 to the campaign and offered to pay for him to take a trip to Bali this autumn.

Franco is reportedly still enrolled at Cornell, even though the university president has publicly condemned his remarks.

‘As a university built on the solid foundations of our nation’s democratic freedoms, Cornell has an obligation to fiercely defend freedom of speech – even when we find that speech abhorrent,’ Cornell President Michael Kotlikoff said.

Franco went viral in June after he was accepted for a role at New York City based tech start-up VryfID, an anti-fraud platform.

Gabe Einhorn, the chief executive of VryfID, shared correspondence he had with Franco on X, writing: ‘This kid applied to our job, we accepted him, and then he responded [with] this.’

He included a screenshot of Franco’s comments on a student careers website, which read: ‘Not interested in working for a Jew. Thanks.’

Einhorn, who is vocal about his Jewish faith across social media, wrote: ‘He probably knows nothing about Jews except for what they tell him in college and on social media. Sad world.’

The company co-founder blurred out Austin’s last name in his original social media post. As users tried to unveil the student, Einhorn wrote: ‘Don’t need to ruin his life.’

But Franco was eventually exposed in an updated video that Einhorn posted on Instagram, which showed the message sent on the Handshake careers platform, alongside the student’s full name.

Earlier this week, Franco was eviscerated by British broadcaster Piers Morgan after he doubled down on his bigoted views during an interview.

Morgan was unflinching in his assessment of Franco, labeling the unrepentant student ‘thick’ during their Tuesday interview.

‘To not understand the enormity of what you’re saying and have no sense of remorse, no sense of shame, no sense of guilt,’ Morgan fumed.

‘I just find it incredibly depressing that a young man given the privilege that you’ve had, to go to a top university, could be this thick or worse, not care about what you’re saying.’

Franco, while speaking to Morgan, denied being anti-Semitic and said he couldn’t hate Jewish people because one of his ex-girlfriends was half-Jewish.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Cornell University for comment.
