    Ghanaian fashion designer, Elikem Kumordzie, also known as ‘Elikem the Tailor’ has revealed that he has grown tired of Ghanaian fashion platforms and is now looking at international stages.

    Speaking exclusively to GhanaWeb at the recently held 15th edition of “Rhythms on the Runway,” Elikem described the Ghanaian fashion industry as “been there, done that,” stating that he has experienced it fully.

    He however asserted that he is elated to step aside and let young designers take up the spaces

    “I’ve grown tired of the Ghanaian fashion scene. You know what they say, been there done that and am happy to watch the young ones that are coming in exhibit and get inspired,” he said.

    Elikem added that he is on a global trajectory with a new branch in Johannesburg, South Africa and is in the process of having another branch in New York

    “We have a new branch in South Africa, Johannesburg, we are looking to get into New York soon. We’ve started some works and that’s the start of our global trajectory” he said
