Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei, has condemned politics of insult.
In a post sighted by Zionfelix.net, Osei questioned what has happened to Ghana’s beautiful culture and democracy.
After watching President John Mahama’s State of the Nation Address, the NPP sympathizer was sad to see some Ghanaian youth insulting the president.
He stated that it’s unacceptable for these people to use foul language against the president.
Prince David Osei added that he had messed up in the past but he is remorseful now.

“What the h**l has happened to our beautiful Ghana? The damned polarization is tearing our democracy to shreds. Dang, it crushes my heart seeing our people sinking into the quagmire of political insults and intolerance!
In the last administration, folks took it upon themselves to tarnish the ex-president and anyone who dared to voice opinion. Our sullen parents, religious leaders, and so-called state elders, not only stayed quiet, but applauded those son of a guns who created derogatory YouTube channels just to make people feel like crap.
I believed this bs would end. But watching SONA 2025 on UTV live on facebook near broke my heart. Sure, I don’t agree with everything President Mahama and NDC say or do. I don’t need to wish them ill or hate anyone, because Ghana is our home, all of us!” he wrote on Instagram.
Prince David Osei added: “But these lads, using foul language against the president… Is unacceptable . Can’t UTV even moderate these live comments? I admit, I might have messed up in the past, for which I am remorseful. But this isn’t good for Ghana or our youth.
I’ve been insulted time and time again, but I couldn’t care less about it. What bothers me is seeing our young ones resorting to politics of insult and prejudice. For God’s sake, let’s learn to tolerate each other! Disagree, fine. But personal attacks?! This sort of polarization could cause us hell one day, NPP or NDC be damned! God bless our homeland Ghana.”
