A South African man identified as Rulph has shared his frustration and sadness after discovering that his car had been stripped of nearly all its valuable parts, leaving behind only the empty frame. The shocking discovery came just hours after the vehicle was reportedly stolen by suspected hijackers.
Rulph explained that the car was taken on the night of Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Like many victims of vehicle theft, he hoped the car would be found intact or recovered by authorities. However, what he later found was far from what he expected.
According to him, the vehicle was located the following day, Wednesday afternoon, March 18. But instead of finding his car as it was, he was met with what he described as “what was left of it.” By the time he saw it again, most of the important components had already been removed.
The thieves had allegedly stripped the car of its major parts, leaving behind little more than the shell. The incident has drawn attention online, with many people reacting in shock at how quickly the car was dismantled after being stolen.
