Popular gospel musician and pastor, Sonnie Badu, has joined the chorus of praise for Shatta Wale following the unprecedented turnout at Shatta Fest 2025.

He described the massive gathering as a once-in-a-lifetime moment in Ghana’s entertainment history.

In a post on social media, Badu marveled at the magnitude of the crowd that flooded Accra’s Black Star Square for Shatta Wale’s 40th birthday concert, which was held on Saturday, October 18, 2025. The event drew tens of thousands of fans dressed in white to Ghana’s Independence Square in Accra.
