A Nigerian lady has dismissed public opinion and has gone ahead to wear matching Christmas outfits with her dog.

In a video made by the younger sister, @princessphyna0 who shared what she saw on getting to her sister’s place, the dog was seen donning a pretty red and white top and pants.

The sister also wore the same Christmas-symbolic outfit and took lovely pictures with the dog who cooperated all through.

Some viewers were indifferent about the scene, but many especially the singles, commended the lady for showing them the light in not getting oppressed by couples in the forthcoming Christmas celebration.

As is the tradition for most countries, lovebirds wear matching outfits to take pictures and celebrate the festive season.

Here are some of the reactions to the video:

Toluwanimi♉️: Me n my dogs are wearing matching Ankara on Christmas Day!🤣

buu_kky: “Why stress yourself over a relationship when you can have one with your dog?” 😂😂😂

vihkiemanie01: If u no get partner to match with this Christmas. Match outfits with ur pets….All match na match 😂😂😂
