Ghanaian media personality Serwaa Amihere, has taken to social media to once again reflect on the death of Ghana’s Highlife musician, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba.

In a post shared on X on August 3, 2025, Serwaa Amihere, who had a close relationship with the late musician prior to his sudden demise, noted that even though it’s been a week, she still cannot fathom Daddy Lumba’s passing.

According to Serwaa Amihere, the musician’s death feels unreal.

“It’s been a week, and it still feels very unreal. I still can’t believe you’re gone. Rest well, LEGEND,” she said.

Prior to Daddy Lumba‘s death, Serwaa Amihere organised a concert for the musician on February 15, 2025, an event that marked the singer’s last stage performance before his passing.

Following his demise, Serwaa Amihere, who confirmed the death of the musician on Lumba’s “DL” radio station, shared her last conversation with the late Lumba.

According to Serwaa Amihere, the “Makra Mo” hitmaker had invited her home to a fufu date, a week before his death.

Meanwhile, a candlelight has been held for the legendary late Daddy Lumba on August 2, 2025, at the Independence Square to commemorate the impact he had on the music space.
