Concerns over disruptions at the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding Daddy Lumba’s funeral have intensified, with entertainment critic Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng calling for immediate intervention from the musician’s family and relevant authorities.

During a discussion on UTV’s United Showbiz, Vida expressed frustration at the repeated scenes of chaos created by groups of women who appear at the courthouse during each hearing. She argued that their conduct is no coincidence and may even be orchestrated.

“I’m starting to believe that the women have been contracted to cause trouble at the court hearing. If it is not contractual, why do they always go there and all they do is cause trouble? The family must stop them because it is an embarrassment to Daddy Lumba and his legacy,” she said.

Her remarks followed the circulation of social media videos showing market women confronting and verbally abusing a man identified as the father of Lumba’s mistress, Odo Broni. The footage has sparked public concern about rising tensions around the case.

Vida Adutwumwaa also appealed to the family to ensure stronger security measures when the court delivers its final judgment next week. She warned that the recurring confrontations could escalate without police oversight.

“This week the family head was whisked away in a police car before he could leave the court, so the family must get the police on the court premises to avoid any danger at the final judgement next week,” the entertainment critic further stated.
