Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has emerged as a transfer target for several Premier League clubs, with Aston Villa, AFC Bournemouth, Fulham FC and Brentford FC all closely monitoring the winger’s situation at Leicester City.
The 22-year-old is enjoying a standout campaign, recording nine goals and seven assists in 37 appearances across all competitions. His consistent displays have drawn strong interest, with Fulham and Brentford reportedly leading the race for his signature ahead of the summer transfer window.
Fatawu’s future could hinge on Leicester’s league fortunes, with the Foxes currently sitting mid-table in the Championship. Reports suggest his valuation could drop to around £5 million should the club fail to secure promotion, potentially accelerating transfer talks.
Although there is no release clause in his contract, Leicester may be open to negotiations if the player signals a desire to move. Fatawu joined the club permanently from Sporting CP in 2024 after an initial loan spell and played a key role in their promotion campaign.
Now fully recovered from a previous ACL injury, he has also earned a call-up to Ghana’s squad for upcoming international friendlies against Austria and Germany.
