Nollywood actress Ini Edo has courageously shared her heartbreaking story of fertility struggles and her ultimate decision to become a mother through surrogacy.

In a recent episode of the reality TV series ‘Young, Famous & African’, the 42-year-old star revealed that she had suffered six miscarriages before exploring alternative options for motherhood.

Edo, who got married at 26 with the expectation of having children by 31, spoke candidly about how her fertility struggles derailed her plans. “I have had over six miscarriages. I do not like to go into it. I tried. It was not a fancy way out for me. I have always wanted to do this. I have had IVF. I know what I have dealt with as a woman.”
