Benedicta Gafah (R) dismisses having a romantic relationship with Florence Obinim’s (L) husband
Actress Benedicta Gafah has responded to claims linking her romantically to Bishop Daniel Obinim, noting that she is in a committed relationship and has no interest in anyone else’s husband.
The actress shared a video on her TikTok page on December 23, 2025, showing moments from an outing in town, where she was seen spending time with another lady. She captioned the post with a message celebrating her identity and love for her roots.
“I just love being an African. Ghanaian to be precise,” she wrote.

The post garnered varied reactions in the comment section, with some social media users accusing Benedicta Gafah of being behind what they described as Florence Obinim’s current struggles, citing rumours of an alleged affair between the actress and the
Gospel singer’s husband.
Others went further to allege that she had ‘pressured’ Florence Obinim to undergo cosmetic procedures to change her appearance.
Benedicta rejected the accusations, stating that she has never been involved in any secret relationship with any married man.
She clarified that she is currently with her own partner and urged the public to stop dragging Florence Obinim into unnecessary ridicule over her appearance, adding that she believes the Gospel singer is happy with how she looks.
“Seeing my comment section flooded with her name is very uncomfortable and extremely disrespectful. I have my own man and I am not interested in anybody’s man. I believe she loves how she looks. Let’s keep it respectful. Merry Christmas,” she wrote.
Earlier in 2025, rumours surfaced suggesting Benedicta Gafah was romantically involved with Bishop Obinim, which drew a public reaction from his wife, Florence Obinim.
In a video addressing the claims, the Gospel singer expressed her frustration over the speculation and dismissed the reports.
Florence Obinim stated that her husband had not taken on a second wife and had not informed her of any such arrangement. She also appealed to the public to leave Benedicta Gafah alone and stop linking her name to her marriage.
