Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur Fella Makafui has opened up about how she deals with public opinion and social media criticism, stating that she has learned not to let online commentary affect her personal life.

Speaking in an interview on Pulse Ghana on February 3, 2026, Fella explained that she remains focused on her private life and pays little attention to what happens outside her immediate circle.

According to her, social media often presents a distorted version of reality, making it unhealthy to take people’s comments too seriously.

“I’m not bothered about anything that happens outside my life. I’m not so bothered about anything that happens outside my house,” she said.

Fella stated that she sees social media as a completely different world where people only show curated aspects of their lives, making it difficult for outsiders to truly understand someone’s reality.

“I just feel like social media is a different world altogether. These are people who don’t know you personally so it’s a world where we are just showing the surface of our lives,” she shared.

Fella further noted that over the years, she has developed thick skin and has refused to let negative comments or opinions affect her emotionally.

“You can’t really let things people say get to you so that’s how I’ve grown over the years,” Fella added.
