Popular Ghanaian socialite Aba Dope has expressed regret over a comment she made regarding marriage.

During an interview with Adom TV, Aba Dope stated that she did not envision getting married but was instead focused on running her business.

“I am not going to get married, never, because I am not interested. I want to focus on my business and maybe have the chance to have a child,” she said in Twi during the interview.

In a recent update, the popular TikToker has retracted her statements, mentioning that she might consider marriage soon as she is getting older.

She disclosed that her ex-boyfriend is interested in marrying her, and her parents are also in favor of it, which has influenced her change of heart about marriage.

“I had mentioned in an interview that I would never marry, but now my ex-boyfriend is urging me to marry him. My parents want me to make it happen. Given what I said in the interviews, I am concerned about what my friends will think when I do get married.

“I am asking people to move on and not associate me with the videos when I am married. I am approaching 42 years old, and all my friends have married and had children, so I feel the need to take a chance. I don’t want to be left behind in life,” she said in a video posted on Instagram.
