Ghanaian musician Wanlov the Kubolor has revealed that he is expecting another child, a development that would bring his total number of children to 15.
The artiste, known in private life as Emmanuel Owusu Bonsu, made the disclosure during an interview with media personality Kafui Dey. He stated that one of his partners is currently pregnant.
Speaking candidly about fatherhood, the FOKN Bois rapper reflected on how parenting was never part of his original life plan.
“I never thought about it. I never imagined I would be a father, and now I believe I’m almost on my 15th child,” he said.
Wanlov, who has children living across six countries and four continents, explained that his role in their lives is somewhat unconventional. His children are based in Japan, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Ghana, Tanzania, and the United States.
Despite his non-traditional lifestyle, Wanlov emphasised the importance of responsibility and structure in parenting.
“To be a good family person, you have to be like a good administrator. There’s what your heart wants, and then there’s what you actually do,” he noted.
The musician described himself primarily as a visitor in the lives of some of his children due to geographical distance, but suggested that he remains intentional about fulfilling his parental duties.
