Artiste manager for Shatta Wale, Sammy Flex, has expressed his disappointment in Ghanaian broadcast journalist, Sally Mann, for stating that some industry players in the country have planned to end the career of his artiste.

In an interview on Onua FM, Sammy Flex noted that the comment from the outspoken journalist was unfortunate and the said plot would not only affect the “On God” hitmaker, but also the people he works with.

“To be frank, I was disappointed when I heard the issue. I asked myself what at all he (Shatta Wale) might have done against someone and they want to shame him and make sure anything he does won’t succeed. I also asked myself that if we claim we are in the same industry and some people would decide to do this, what would they gain from it? And you know it won’t only affect him but those who work with him as well. It is a disappointing statement coming from Sally,” he said.

    Background

On November 10, 2024, journalist Sally Mann disclosed that she, along with other media personalities in the country, planned to end the career of dancehall musician, Shatta Wale.

Sally explained on her show on Adom TV that their primary objective was to promote Stonebwoy and push him towards winning a Grammy award, while sideling Shatta Wale in the process.

She added that their reason for attacking the “On God” hitmaker is because of what she termed as disrespect for media personalities in the country.
