Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo has disclosed that he is an Arsenal fan, with the club being widely supported by both of his parents and family members.

The 24-year-old expressed his excitement about playing against the team he has supported all his life and is eager to seize the opportunity to score against them.

Semenyo’s club, Bournemouth, will host the Gunners at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday, October 19, 2024, in the Premier League at 16:30 GMT.

He mentioned that his parents and his pastor will be in the stands to watch him play against Arsenal, adding that they will be cheering for him to score.

“I am an Arsenal fan. I don’t conflict the two with my job. It is great to play against Arsenal, a team I have watched all my life, and I want to play for the top clubs as well. In order for that to happen, I need to prove it,” Semenyo told The Athletic in an interview.

The Black Stars striker has enjoyed a strong start to the new Premier League season, netting three goals and providing one assist.
