A frustrated Hearts of Oak supporter has voiced his anger at head coach Didi Dramani after the club’s shock elimination from the MTN FA Cup on Wednesday.

The Phobians, record holders of the competition, suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat at Kpobiman Park to Division Two side True Life. Despite dominating possession, Hearts lacked cutting edge in attack and crashed out at the earliest stage of the tournament.

The result sparked outrage among sections of the fanbase, with one supporter delivering a scathing assessment of Dramani’s performance.

“Didi Dramani is a bad coach. I am better than him, even though I’m a carpenter,” the fan said, expressing disbelief at the team’s inability to break down lower-tier opposition.

Hearts have struggled to rediscover their best form since their last trophy triumph in 2022, when they lifted the FA Cup under then-coach Samuel Boadu. The club narrowly avoided relegation during the 2022/23 campaign before finishing fourth last season.

The expectation heading into the current season was improvement, but progress has been slow, and the latest setback has increased pressure on Dramani, who was appointed in 2024 and previously served as Black Stars assistant coach.

Supporters are demanding quick answers as the club prepare to resume their league campaign with a trip to Tamale to face Karela United.
