Nero X has stated that he wouldn’t mind dying for President John Dramani Mahama.

The Ghanaian artiste, who composed a campaign song for Mahama during the 2024 campaign season, praised his leadership and vision for Ghana during an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM.

When asked what he would be willing to give up to ensure Mahama’s continued leadership, Nero X replied, “If I am to sacrifice anything, I am willing to perform for him for free as a musician.”

Answering how far his commitment would go, he declared, “If there is a hypothetical situation where I am to sacrifice my life for President Mahama, I will. Because it is for Ghana, he is helping Ghana and I am willing to help Ghana with my life.”

Nero X further praise Mahama’s personality and performance, describing him as a hardworking leader who genuinely cares about the nation’s progress. “I love everything about him, his personality, his work ethic, everything. We have seen how he’s been performing,” he said.

The artiste added that he believes Mahama deserves to lead Ghana far longer than the constitution allows, arguing that his work speaks for itself.

“I wish he could rule for 30 years before he goes. Even the opposition is aware that he is doing good and should even rule for longer. Even the Nigerians want him as their president because they are seeing his good works,” Nero X said.
