Ghanaian actress Gloria Sarfo has revealed her decision to keep her romantic relationships out of the public eye, following challenges she faced when a previous relationship became a topic of public discussion.
Speaking on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo show with Nana Romeo, the celebrated actress opened up about the impact of publicizing her past relationships and why privacy has become essential to her.
Reflecting on her dating life, Gloria mentioned that she has always attracted admirers, even beyond Ghana.
“It was in the UK that I knew I had a lot of admirers,” she shared, recounting a moment when a woman approached her, admitting her husband was captivated by Gloria.
“She told me she was handing the husband over to me,” Gloria said, noting that the man’s body language confirmed his interest.
Despite her popularity, Gloria disclosed that marriage has eluded her. She recalled a relationship close to ending in marriage but ultimately fell apart due to unforeseen issues.
That experience, she revealed, was harrowing because her partner had chosen to be publicly affectionate, something she had not been comfortable with.
