Undefeated IBF/IBO super middleweight champion Osleys Iglesias delivered a systematic beat down of previously undefeated Dane Oliver Zaren over seven rounds in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada last night. Zaren’s moments were far and few between, as Iglesias was just too good over the course of the fight. In the second half of the bout, Zaren’s left eye bore the damage inflicted by Iglesias’ rapier jabs and hooks, bleeding and swelling badly. In the sixth, Zaren hit the deck twice (once where the ropes held him up), yet he somehow survived the round. It wasn’t long into the seventh that Zaren’s corner had seen enough, throwing in the towel to save their man to fight another day. The time was 1:31 of the seventh. Iglesias retains his IBF and IBO titles, improving to 16-0, 15 KOs. Zaren loses for the first time, now 19-1-1, 8 KOs.
