A Florida woman is facing 10 felony charges after police say she met three men in Miami bars, drugged them and then stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of their luxury merchandise.

Sarah Jean Tavano, 39, was arrested Sunday at Sugar, a nightclub in downtown Miami where one of the alleged victims had met her.

Police affidavits show she was booked for strongarm robbery, organized fraud, grand theft and burglary of an occupied dwelling.

Her modus operandi, according to authorities, was to make men believe she was interested in casual sex before getting them alone and vulnerable so she could drug them and steal their belongings.

The first man to come forward to police said he met Tavano at Blackbird Ordinary in October 2025.

He claimed not to remember large portions of the night, including his apparent invitation to her to come back to his apartment, according to an affidavit.

Surveillance footage showed that Tavano entered the man’s apartment for about an hour, changed clothes and left with two suitcases she did not have before, police said.

The victim said $26,426 worth of his belongings were stolen, including multiple Louis Vuitton handbags and wallets, bags from Alexander McQueen, Valentino, Versace, Gucci, Saint Laurent and various gold and diamond jewelry items, according to the affidavit.

Police said a fingerprint was left behind in the apartment that was later matched to Tavano.

A little over a month later, Tavano allegedly met a man at El Patio Wynwood Nightclub on the night of December 10, 2025.

The man called police the next day and explained that he and Tavano shared an Uber back to his hotel room at the Hyatt Centric Resort Hotel, according to court records.

After spending some time at the hotel bar, the victim said he and Tavano went back to his hotel room where he eventually suffered a ‘severe blackout’, not waking up until early the next morning, according to the police report.

Police said the man’s wallet and iPhone 17 were both gone. The victim stated that there were unauthorized transactions totaling $14,000 that were made using credit and debit cards, wire transfers, and transactions from Zelle and Cashapp.

An additional $20,000 was fraudulently spent at a shoe store, according to the police report. The victim also reported that an attempt was made to transfer money from his cryptocurrency account with Coinbase.

Just three days later, Tavano was allegedly back at it. Police said she hooked up with a man at Sugar and brought him back to his hotel room at the InterContinental Miami.

The victim called 911 early on the morning of December 13 and said his $38,000 gold Rolex watch was missing, along with $1,500 in cash he had with him, according to a police report. The watch was later pawned.

Tavano was arrested at Sugar, a nightclub in downtown Miami where she allegedly met one of the male victims. Police said she admitted she had drugs on her, after which they searched her and found cocaine, MDMA and Seroquel, according to court records

The man reported feeling similar symptoms as the other two alleged victims, saying he experienced sudden nausea, weakness and dizziness before passing out.

Various pieces of surveillance footage from the various locations Tavano had been over the past few months allowed police to identify her and arrest her this weekend.

Upon her arrest at the Sugar nightclub, she admitted she had drugs on her, according to police.

She was subsequently caught with cocaine hidden underneath her bra, police said. MDMA and Seroquel were allegedly found in her purse, substances that both have the potential to be used as date rape drugs.

Also in her purse was a bottle of Jägermeister ‘with a powdery substance visibly floating within the liquid and settled at the bottom,’ according to a police report.

Tavano, who remains in jail, also acknowledged that she was depicted in still images taken from the surveillance footage at one of the hotels, police said.
