Ghanaian dancehall heavyweight Stonebwoy has stirred conversation online following comments he made during a live radio interview.
While appearing on Hitz FM’s Cruise Control on July 16, 2025, Stonebwoy took a moment to give a shoutout to his wife, Dr. Louisa Satekla, and their two daughters.
“Shoutouts to ‘Doc,’ my very pretty and beautiful wife,” he said.
He then cheekily asked, “If you don’t have a wife, wetin you gain?”
In a mix of English and pidgin, Stonebwoy made some cryptic remarks that drew laughter in the studio, suggesting that having a wife is far better than just dating.
“You see, he didn’t have a wife. He couldn’t have a wife. It’s a girlfriend business, he couldn’t marry. He’s a stubborn boy,” he quipped.
Although Stonebwoy didn’t mention anyone by name, many social media users interpreted the remarks as a subtle jab at fellow musician Shatta Wale.
