    Nigerian radio personality and television host, Toke Makinwa, speaks on how she feels about being unmarried and single at the age of 40.

    In a recent episode of her podcast, “Toke Moments” she shares how she has come to accept her reality of being single and childless at the age of 40.

    Instead of viewing these aspects of her life negatively, she chose to embrace them, directing her focus to positive aspects of her life, such as being incredibly successful at her age.

    She even claimed that had she gotten married again, she would have divorced as family life was just not for her. She advised women to focus on themselves and live their truth.

    Many have commended her for accepting her reality and agreed that people have different ways of living their lives. While others unable to comprehend her points say she is lying and unhappy.

    Read some of the comments here;

    @kvng_mst Even married people are sometimes lonely in marriages. Normalize letting people live their truths. As for me, I’ll be happily married ❤️

    @dahila_official We go tell igwe make e organize award for you because you really need that award😂😂….

    @_mar_grett There is no peace greater than making peace with your reality. You just live fully without anything holding you back.

    @symply_beautiana Life is not celebrated enough. Be grateful you are 40 and you are alive. Younger people are dieing everyday but God has kept you alive

    @bigsuccey Love how she is telling herself the truth cos the worst thing you will do is lie to yourself.

    @sniper_x_entry Lies. But okay, we believe.

    @ritaberry_desserts Some people didn’t come this life for marriage and children; some came to this world to experience life and live and that’s still okay.❤️
