Medeama SC head coach Tanko Ibrahim has declared his ambition to secure a historic domestic double after guiding his side into the semi-finals of the MTN FA Cup.

The “Mauve and Yellow” booked their place in the last four with a commanding 3-0 victory over Attram De Visser Academy at the Cape Coast Stadium. After a tightly contested encounter ended goalless in regulation time, Kelvin Nkrumah emerged as the hero, netting a sensational hat-trick in extra time to break the resilience of the Division One side.

Medeama’s cup success comes amid an impressive league campaign, with the Tarkwa-based club currently sitting top of the Ghana Premier League table on 46 points after 25 matches. Their strong form has raised hopes of clinching both the league title and the FA Cup—a feat that would mark a significant milestone in the club’s history.

Despite their promising position, Ibrahim insists his side will not prioritise one competition over the other. The head coach reaffirmed his commitment to challenging on all fronts as the season enters a निर्णting phase.

Medeama’s growing momentum continues to fuel belief among fans as the club pushes to turn its double dream into reality.
