The ratings committee meeting included a couple of pursebids for IBF title fights and eliminators.
The eliminator for the IBF Jr. Middleweight title (held by Josh Kelly) will be contested between Brandon “The Cannon” Adams and former champion Bakhram Murtazaliev. The purse bid was won by Main events with a bid of $361,000, represented by John Hornower.
Matchroom Boxing won the purse bid for the fight between Andy Cruz and Albert Bell for the #1 position at lightweight, with a winning bid of $298,000.
Heavyweight: Frank Sanchez is moving up to #1 after his demolition of Richard Torrez, Jr. in their IBF eliminator last weekend in Cairo.
Cruiserweight: #2 Viddal Riley will face the winner of the fight between #5 David Nyika and #6 Floyd Mason, for the vacant IBF title.
Light Heavyweight: Dmitrii Bivol will face #1 mandatory Michael Eifert on Saturday, May 30.
Super Middleweight: Osleys Iglesias just won the vacant title. Mandatory due in October. #4 Troy Williams and #5 Diego Pacheco are ordered to negotiate for #1 spot.
Middleweight: #2 Etinosa Oliha vs #3 Aaron McKenna will fight for the vacant title on August 8. Amari Jones just won the #1 spot this past week over former champ Vincenzo Gualtieri and will face the winner of the vacant title.
Jr. Middleweight: Josh Kelly will defend against #4 Caoimhin Agyarko in October. (See opening comments regarding mandatory).
Welterweight: Champion Lewis Crocker will face mandatory challenger Liam Paro June 24 in Australia.
Jr. Welterweight: Title Vacant. There were also developments at Jr. Welterweight where the title has remained vacant after the departure of then champion Richardson Hitchins. Lindolfo Delgado sits at #1. #2 is vacant. #3 is currently Oscar Duarte, who is unavailable due to injuries sustaiend in his recent fight against Angel Fierro on the Ramirez-Benavidez undercard. #4 Keyshawn Davis is reportedly opting to move up to Welterweight. Therefore, #5 Artur Biyarslanov and #1 Delgado are being ordered to fight for the vacant title.
Lightweight: Raymond Muratalla (See purse bid info for mandatory above). Mandatory due October 24.
Jr. Lightweight: Emmanuel Navarrete is unified champ (IBF/WBO). #3 Sultan Zauerbek will face #4 Jackson England on June 26 in Perth, Australia for mandatory spot.
Featherweight: Angelo Leo’s mandatory defense fell out with #1 rated Ra’eese Aleem when Aleem didn’t make weight back on May 9th.
Jr. Featherweight: Naoya Inoue is undisputed. Since Inoue won’t be making an IBF mandatory anytime soon, #1 Ryosuke Nishida and #2 Sam Goodman are requesting to fight for an interim title.
Bantamweight: Jose Salas Reyes mandatory due June 13. #3 Kenneth Llover and #6 Michael Angeletti will meet to determine #1 on June 6.
Jr. Bantamweight: Champion Willibaldo Garcia Perez will face mandatory Andrew Moloney on June 6. #5 Sikho Nqothole and #6 Charlie Edwards will contest the #1 spot on May 29.
Flyweight: Masamichi Yabuki mandatory due on September 27. #1 is Miel Fajardo.
Jr. Flyweight: Thanongsak Simsri, next mandatory due on January 13, 2027. #3 Regie Suganob and #5 Sivenathi Nontshinga are negotiating for #1 spot.
Mini Flyweight: Champion Pedro Taduran, mandatory is due July 26. #1 is Dian Xing Zhu.
