Hearts of Oak fan is confident his club will beat Kotoko

A staunch fan of Accra Hearts of Oak has threatened to stop supporting the club if they lose to Asante Kotoko in their Ghana Premier League clash scheduled for February 15, 2026.

According to the supporter, he has backed Hearts of Oak for some time after losing faith in the Porcupine Warriors when they failed to win a continental trophy.

He stressed that given Kotoko’s inconsistent performances, the Phobians should be able to outclass their rivals and secure a convincing victory.

“If Hearts of Oak lose to Kotoko, I will stop supporting the club. I have offered all my children for this game; I am serious. I used to be a Kotoko fan, but I stopped after WAC of Morocco beat us to win the trophy, so I lost hope in the club.

“It is the same thing here. This is a do-or-die affair, so they should be serious. This poor Kotoko team should not beat us. I urge all supporters to come out and support the club,” he told Shaban Mohammed in an interview.

Both Kotoko and Hearts head into the encounter nursing disappointment following early exits in the FA Cup Round of 64, a rare and frustrating chapter for Ghana’s two biggest clubs.

The Porcupine Warriors, backed by their passionate Kumasi supporters, will be eager to channel their frustrations into motivation as they aim to leapfrog their rivals on the league table.
