Kwame Yogot (L) threatens colleague Kuami Eugene (R)

Musician Kwame Yogot has emphatically stated that he would quit music if his colleague Kuami Eugene ever succeeds again, either in music or in life.

In an interview on Aluta FM, Kwame Yogot, known for the hit “Biibi Besi,” which featured Kuami Eugene, said he has an issue with the “Angela” hitmaker.

Yogot criticised Kuami Eugene’s focus on love songs and stated this makes him ill-suited for a “gangster” image.

Kwame Yogot mentioned that Kuami Eugene’s focus on love songs means he cannot not be a “gangster,” and went as far as to say he suspects the singer is gay.

“If Kuami Eugene succeeds in music or in life again, I will quit music. For me, I’m sure he’s probably gay. He’s not a gangster, he only makes songs for women,” Kwame Yogot said.

The ‘Biibi Besi’ hitmaker also claimed he brought street credibility to Kuami Eugene with songs like Biibi Besi, and that Kuami Eugene’s current success is built on what he provided.

“Kuami Eugene can never bless me. When I came into his life, what did he have? When I came into his life, he did not have anything. Right now the things Kuami Eugene is having are from me…

“He giving my song to a political party is like selling my career, that’s what the boy wanted to do and I would never like you. If I see Kuami Eugene and he greets me, I will bite off his nose. I hate him that much and nobody can intervene,” he added.
