Ghanaian rapper Showboy, after releasing his first video of the year featuring Yaw TOG, took to X (Twitter) to disclose his intention of quitting music if he doesn’t win this year’s Best New Artiste of the Year at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
The controversial musician has worked extremely hard in the year under review shooting music videos in South Africa and other African countries as well as featuring top artistes like Fancy Gadam, Oseikrom Sikani, Kweku Smoke, Ypee, and the latest one with Yaw TOG.
Even though he has received several backlash from people over some utterances he makes on social media, his hard work and zeal to succeed in the music industry need to be commended.
