Ghanaian gospel musician, Afia Ayiwah, has indicated that she would not hesitate to perform for the political party that would emerge victorious in the 2024 December 7 elections.

In an interview on Kessben FM, the “Jesus Reigns” hitmaker emphasized that her decision to perform on a political stage should not be seen as an endorsement of any political party, but rather a chance to spread her gospel message across different platforms.

She said she believes that music has the power to bring people together, regardless of their political affiliations.

“If any political party wins and they invite me to perform, I’ll be there to celebrate and share my message of hope and faith,” she said.

Afia Ayiwah also reflected on the role of artistes in society, stating that they have a responsibility to contribute positively and support community initiatives, regardless of their personal beliefs.

“As artistes, we have a unique ability to reach people and influence them positively. I want to use my platform to promote peace and reconciliation,” she added.

Afia Ayiwah on November 3, 2024, released her much-anticipated song titled “Jesus Reigns.”

The song currently has over 99k views on YouTube.
