Renowned Ghanaian spiritualist Bishop Ajagurajah, known for his controversial yet influential spiritual practices, has disclosed his decision to leave the country on the day of the general election.

In an interview with Smart Ghana TV, Ajagurajah expressed that the elections would be peaceful but clashed with his travelling.

He noted that the stakes for the election are not just political but deeply rooted in spiritual consultations by leaders from Ghana’s two major political parties, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to Ajagurajah, election day holds substantial spiritual implications.

“This is why both parties have been consulting spiritualists and religious leaders.

The atmosphere is spiritually charged,” he explained, without delving into specifics about the nature of these consultations.
