Evangelist Patricia Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has issued a wild response to the controversy surrounding a viral video in which she was seen receiving dollars from Sammy Gyamfi, the CEO of the Ghana Gold Board.

In a recent live video, Agradaa vowed to burn down her church if Sammy Gyamfi faces any consequences for giving her money.

“If Sammy Gyamfi is at risk of losing his job because he gave me money, I will burn down my church,” she declared.

The Heaven Way Chapel founder also promised to return the money, and even double the amount, to clear Sammy Gyamfi’s name.

According to her, she intends to visit his office with a camera crew to publicly return the funds.

“I will return the $800 and even add more to it. I’ll go to his office with my camera and show all of Ghana that I have returned the money with an extra amount. If it’s because of me, a powerful woman of God, that Sammy Gyamfi is facing backlash, then I will act to make things right,” she stated.

Agradaa added that she sees nothing wrong with Gyamfi’s gesture, insisting that she is also worthy of receiving gifts.

“If Sammy chooses to give me money, I deserve it. But if it’s going to bring him trouble, then I’ll return it. It’s no big deal, I am worth it,” she added.

Addressing the viral footage, Agradaa claimed she was unaware that she was being filmed at the time.

“Someone secretly took the video and shared it online. I didn’t know I was being recorded, that’s why I was seen showing off the money. When I later heard it was trending, I decided to speak up, even though I was advised to stay silent,” she explained.

Meanwhile, the incident has stirred strong reactions online, with many questioning the appropriateness of the exchange between a public official and someone as controversial as Agradaa.
