Famed Ghanaian TikToker, Dr Ntakra Ohene has emotionally revealed how he was severly slammed the first time he shared his cancer journey on social media.

Speaking in an exclusive interview, Dr Ntakra Ohene recounted how he was insulted by social media users for sharing his cancer journey.

According to him, his critics insulted and insisted he should seek medical attention rather than sharing his journey on social media

According to him, it was through TikTok that he met the late Osanju

Dr Ntakra Ohene explained that Osanju reached out to him shortly after he publicly disclosed his own battle with cancer.

“When I first spoke about my condition, many people insulted me,” he recalled. “Osanju kept messaging me, and by the third time, I finally responded.”

During that initial exchange, Osanju confided that he had been struggling with leukemia since birth.

According to Dr Ntakra Ohene, Osanju admitted he feared speaking openly about the illness because of how others might judge him.

“I encouraged him to share his truth,” he said, emphasizing the importance of honesty and support in fighting stigma.

He further recounted sending money to Osanju to help purchase medication, describing their conversations as deeply personal.

“Though some advised me not to say this, I know my life could end any day,” he admitted, reflecting on his own fragile health.
