Ghanaian gospel musician Rose Adjei has revealed shocking details about the struggles she has endured in the music industry ever since she made her breakthrough.

Speaking on Hello FM’s Entertainment Review show which is hosted by Dave Hammer, the singer claimed that she was deliberately sabotaged by a fellow artist out of jealousy.

She explained that her efforts to promote her music were intentionally frustrated by this fellow artist who felt threatened by her rising success.

According to Rose, this individual went as far as spreading false information to DJs and media personnel in an attempt to block her songs from receiving airplay.

“It was clearly sabotage,” she disclosed, adding that the situation caused a noticeable dip in her radio presence at the time. Despite the unfair treatment, she said she remained focused on her craft and refused to let bitterness consume her.

She also mentioned that fellow gospel singer Georgia Adjei once approached her to compliment her distinctive voice and delivery by trying to mimic her style.
