Actor Kwaku Manu has fiercely responded to media personality Okatakyie Afrifa, intensifying a war of words that has unfolded over the past few days.

Their recent clash began after Manu urged President John Mahama to introduce legislation that would criminalize insults directed at public figures, a statement that didn’t sit well with Afrifa.

In a video sighted by Zionfelix.net, Kwaku Manu accused Afrifa of being ungrateful and self-centered, claiming the broadcaster always acts in his own interest.

“He’s only ever thinking about himself,” Manu remarked, visibly frustrated. He also questioned the circumstances surrounding Afrifa’s departure from a media house owned by a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) before he transitioned to Angel FM/TV.

What seemed to particularly anger the Kumawood star was Afrifa’s alleged encouragement for people to throw urine at him, a comment Manu found deeply disrespectful.

Highlighting his own contributions to society, Kwaku Manu also mentioned his history of employing others and supporting livelihoods, noting pointedly that while Afrifa’s mother was still paying his school fees, he had already taken on the responsibility of paying workers under him.
