Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu has recounted how his life was positively transformed after his spiritual mother advised him not to speak against a person who had wronged him.
Narrating the story, the actor said some time ago, he was furious with his senior, Agya Koo, for not giving him a role even though he had paid for it.
In a video shared online on March 4, 2025, Kwaku Manu disclosed that he received a prophecy advising him not to attack Agya Koo, as he is believed to be his destiny helper.
“The prophetess asked me not to speak against Agya Koo because he was my destiny helper. She said I would work on the same project with Agya Koo and that movie would make me popular. She added that I should never speak against him even when if I become famous. She also said, I would not need the help of Agya Koo again after my first hit, and therefore, I will travel abroad like how I am traveling from Kumasi to Obuasi,” he said in a video making rounds on Twitter.
Recounting how he met his spiritual mother, prophetess Mama Vida, Kwaku Manu said he was initially an SDA member who didn’t believe in the prophetic realm.
He said he was initially reluctant when advised to meet the prophetess. However, after further deliberation, he decided to give it a chance, and that was when his life took a significant turn.
“I was in the house of this woman, and she kept on telling me to go meet Mama Vida but I resisted. As an SDA there was no way I was going to meet her, even if she wanted to sack me from her house, I would leave to go meet Mama Vida.
“I was asked to give money to a friend who was in the church, so when I got there we spoke for some time until something dawned on me to go meet the woman, moreover it wouldn’t harm me. So I made a bold move and that was how she began to tell me everything about my life,” he added.
