Ghana international defender Terry Yegbe continues to remain composed amid growing speculation linking him with a move to England.

The 24-year-old Elfsborg defender has been attracting serious interest from English Championship side Birmingham City, with reports suggesting a potential transfer could be worth between 3 million Euros and 6 million Euros.

However, the Ghanaian remains focused on his current club despite the mounting rumours.

Speaking after Elfsborg’s 2-1 victory over BK Hacken, Yegbe addressed the speculation for the first time.

“I said I don’t know anything about it because I told my agent not to inform me about the transfer window,” he told Fotbollskanalen.

“I just need to focus on Elfsborg now, no matter what happens in the future.”

Though committed to his role in Sweden, Yegbe did not rule out a future move abroad.

“I want to move someday,” he admitted. “But when I hear the rumours, they go around in my head. That’s why I’d rather not hear anything and let others do their job.”

Since joining Elfsborg from Finnish side SJK Seinajoki in January 2024, Yegbe has become a mainstay in the club’s defence.

While his future remains uncertain, one thing is clear – his professionalism and focus are unwavering.
