Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has revealed his reasons for wanting to return to school, despite his rising fame and success.

The Zazuu Zeh crooner shared his thoughts in a video on Instagram, emphasizing the importance of education and how it can help him navigate his growing career more effectively.

According to Portable, despite his fame, education remains essential for personal growth, respect in society, and intellectual development.

Portable explained that going back to school would not only improve his professionalism but also set a positive example for his children.

He disclosed that he already holds an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from Kwara State Polytechnic, but never collected his certificate after completing the program.

“I wan go back to school. I want to finish my education. I dey sponsor people’s children and my own children too. I don’t want my children to be mocked that their father is illiterate, I wan go back to school so that I will be able to manage my music career better, and it will also help in my dealings with people,” he said.

The singer added that continuing his studies would help him manage his music career better and improve his dealings with people in the industry.
